Our fees are just as custom as our homes. Each fee is individually determined and is based on factors such as the design's starting point (e.g. does the Owner have a plan they favor already?), complexity, size, etc. Each project is individually assessed upon its own identity. The AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS (AIA) also offers additional fee information. This can be a useful place to begin to get a general overview about how architects charge for their services.
All projects are different and have a unique set of challenges. However, in order for you to fully enjoy our process of design and discovery, we encourage you to allow a generous timeline for reviewing and assimilation of the design materials without undue pressure. Most project design timelines will be in excess of several months, depending on how an Owner reviews and makes decisions. Sometimes however, more urgent circumstances may arise prompting a “fast track” approach, which we can help facilitate if necessary.
